FROZEN November 27 marked the release date for the latest animated movie, Frozen. The film has quickly become a huge hit for viewers of all ages. The movie has been nominated for 2 Oscars, along with 32 other awards, winning 18. Frozen has already brought in more money to the box office than The Lion King did when it was released. Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, this animated musical comedy has brought once again another great addition to a Disney favorite movie. The film followers main character, Anna who befriends Kristoff, a mountain man, and his sidekick reindeer Sven, on the search to find her sister, Anna, who fled her kingdom of Arendelle to live on her own. On the way, she meets a humorous and friendly snowman named Olaf who then joins them on their journey to find Anna. Many viewers compare Frozen to past Disney movies. Teaching life lessons, the importance of friendship and most importantly love for family and friends. Overall, Frozen was filled with both cheerful and hallmark moments that any great Disney movie portrays and it is a guarantee that this film will have no trouble finding its way into the hearts of both young and older Disney movie lovers. This film has without a doubt earned itself many viewing for generations to come. AMERICAN HUSTLE American Hustle, which came out at the end of last year on December 20th, is a movie about a con man named Irving Rosenfeld and his partner Sydney Prosser, being forced to work with an FBI agent Richie Dimaso, when they both get unwillingly involved in mafia and powerbroker affairs. They’re caught up in a mess that really needed to be cleaned up, but it keeps getting worse. The film has some big names in it including Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Jennifer Lawrence. The movie may be confusing, but reading a short summary may help in understanding the movie while watching it. The movie was directed by David O. Russell who had worked with some of the actors previously including, Amy Adams, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer Lawrence, who make up four of the five lead characters in the movie. Russell is known for some of his other works as well including, Silver Linings Playbook (2012) starring Cooper and Lawrence, and The Fighter (2010) starring Adams and Bale. Rotten tomatoes gave the film an 8.2/10 rating that Sharpe would have to agree with because of the way it keeps you interested. American Hustle was a great movie that is nominated for ten Oscars and won a total of three Golden Globes.
