Lake Breeze

The Lake Breeze is the official student newspaper of South High school and its intended audience is the student body and the entire Sheboygan community. 

The Lake Breeze open/public forum is a way for students to learn practical ways of journalistic responsibilities and it will follow School Board Policies regarding publications which state they have First Amendment rights to publish stories which may be controversial in nature at times. The Lake Breeze’s aim is to print truthful, accurate information. Our View editorials represent the viewpoint of the entire newspaper staff.

Advertisements are accepted to help fund the newspaper and published alongside our publication content. The newspaper reserves the right to refuse any advertising not to be found within the publication’s interests which include good taste and products that are illegal or inappropriate. The editors and adviser make all final advertising decisions.

The Lake Breeze welcomes letters to the editor from students, staff, and community residents. 

Letters must be signed, but names will be withheld upon request. Letters should be 300 words or less and be submitted in room 257, emailing [email protected], or through South High attention: Megan Hablewitz 1240 Washington Ave. Sheboygan, WI 53081 The Lake Breeze staff reserves the right to withhold any letters which are obscene or libelous or to correct any major grammatical errors.
