It was a big day for the Redwings dominating all over the state. The Varsity and Junior Varsity dance teams competed in the Irish Invitational held in Freedom, WI today. The Varsity team placed first in hip hop and second in pom. Junior Varsity took first in both divisions. Varsity is looking forward to January 25th where they will go to compete in regionals at DC Everest. The JV team will compete next at state held at South High. The wrestling team competed at the Rocket Scramble today and swept everyone away. The team took first place out of 14 teams. Senior Emmett Dean took first place in the 126 pound weight class. Junior Skylar Kroening also took first place in the 113 pound weight class. Kroening also received Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Senior Jacob Malwitz placed second place in the 145 pound weight class. Seniors Matt Rodgers (152), Steven Rodriguez (195) and Gunnar Joosse (160) all took fourth place in their weight class. Freshman Reece Detienne took fifth place in 106 pound weight class. Congratulations to all Redwings in a fantastic day of competition. Updated by Sara Schrank
