South High Student Council invites the community to join them in their homecoming events beginning on Monday, October 7th.
South begins their homecoming festivities with boys volleyball tournament, powerbuff, which will be held in the Acuity Fieldhouse on Monday night beginning at 6:30. On Tuesday the 8th, South takes homecoming to the beach, as they will be holding a Hawaiian themed bonfire behind Kings Park Pavillion from 7:30-10pm.
Festivities continue on Wednesday with powderpuff, girls flag football, beginning at 6:30 at the South High football field. An outdoor movie will be held on the practice football field on Thursday Oct. 10th, they will be showing Remember The Titans to pump up the Redwings for Fridays football game verse Ashwaubenon which will begin at 7pm, which will feature a firework show!
And to wrap up the week, A Night in Paris, is the theme for the dance, which runs from 7-11pm in the South High commons. Student Council will being running a spirit week during that week, where students will dress up in different, fun ways, as a way to make the week even more exciting and fun. Students receive points for their grade level when they dress up for spirit week along with the winners of powerbuff and powderpuff, to try and win the traveling spirit trophy.
