The Redwings were busy competing both home and away tonight! Tonight the Boys Cross Country team competed at Plymouth. Junior Zach Klokow took fifth place with a time of 17:41, while the Redwings took fourth overall! A close match tonight for Redwing soccer. The Boys Varsity team took on cross-town rival North earlier this evening in front of the crowded stands. Both schools had a decent turn out of students to watch the rivalry in action. North scored in first half and continuing to hold that one point lead to the end of tonight’s match up. The Redwings gave it their full effort while competing and had the fans to support them the entire game! The final score this evening was 1 to 0, North. Girls Tennis also had a close overall match up earlier this evening against Green Bay West. GB West beat Sheboygan South 4-3 overall, but South doubles was on fire earlier as number one, two, and three doubles brought in the wins for South. The South doubles teams are in numerical order from one to three: Seniors Sara Schrank and Lauren Pfile, Seniors Mimi Pulido and Samantha Roelse, and Seniors Emma Sharpe and Jennifer Leonhardt. The teams next competition with be in De Pere against the Red Devils. A tough current against the Girls Swim team tonight, as they fall 40-143 against Pulaski. For South, Lillian Stenz placed second in the 100 Breast Stroke, Erin Landgraf placing third in same event, Jenna Zelm placed second out of four divers, and the 200 Freestyle Relay placed second with a team consisting of : Maddie Bartz, Samantha Hoyt, Bonnie Priebe, and Lillian Stenz.
