Basketball- The clock hits 0:00, the buzzer sounds and all think the game is over. However the game is not over just yet. In the North vs. South basketball games played this weekend, North was able to pull ahead and take the W in both Varsity games along with boys JV, but not as easy as they were expecting. Beginning at 1:00 Saturday evening was the Girls JV game who came out on top with a closer than ever score of 45 to 43. Top scorers were Mackenzie Marver with 21 points, and Amy Pfile with 9. Boys JV followed shortly after at 3:00, unfortunately resulting in a loss with a final score of 85-43, top scorers Javon Jordan with 14, Jacob Case and Trevor Ladwig with 8. Clock hit 6:00 at it was time for the Varsity girls to take the stage. All throughout the game it was a close one, back and forth both teams duked it out leaving North with the lead of 29-27 at half, resulting in North pulling ahead with a final score of 52-43. Finally, the clock struck 8:00 and it was time for Boys Varsity to take on the court. Although it was a tough game going into, the boys were able to put up some points, but found themselves taking a loss with a final score of 76-54. The teams were able to put up a good amount of points in each game, however got caught off guard and now have the games in early February at home as a goal to work forward to and prepare for. Hockey- The Red Raiders after a 4-3 win against DePere on Friday, went all the way to Ashwaubenon for a conference game, resulting in Varsity coming out with a loss of 4 to 1, and JV 1-3. Dance- With the reveal of their 2016 Hip-Hop theme occurring at the showcase last Friday, the 007 team and the JV Dance team traveled to Freedom, resulting in Varsity taking 1st in D1 Hip Hop, and 3rd D2 Pom. JV took first in Pom, an awesome accomplishment to look forward to their State Competition next weekend, held at South. Cheer- Cheer team traveled to Appleton this weekend for a competition, resulting in them taking 3rd for their 2016 Routine. Update by Jackson Martinez
