Baccalaureate

The night before graduation, the Class of 2019 spent one of their last times together as a class. Baccalaureate was filled with many emotions for the seniors, taking their class picture and listening to speeches inspiring them for their future while reminiscing on the past. Alumni and class Vice President Darahnea Moua, gave an inspiring speech challenging classmates to always live in the moment, try new things, be the best person you can be, but always remembering the people that got you to where you are now. The night continued with a performance by the South High Choir and speeches by both Principle Kevin Formolo and Guest speaker Jeff Goetz. The night ended with a slideshow with pictures of seniors throughout their school years, along with their senior song “I lived” playing in the background. As the night came to a close, graduation for the seniors was just one more step closer to becoming a reality.
